• Exfoliate thoroughly to create the perfect "canvas"
• Don't wear moisturiser - although if you have really dry patches, you can apply a small amount beforehand
• Use sparingly on hands and feet
• Use a tanning mitt or vinyl glove for the application, thereby avoiding stained hands
• Avoid water for 6 hours
• Wear loose clothing so you don't get any "rub" marks.
